Ingredients list for Apricot Chutney

  • 1/2 cup Dried apricots chopped
  • 1/4 cup Raisins
  • 3/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dry ginger powder (soonth)
  • a pinch Clove powder
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Vinegar

Method

  1. Mix together apricots, raisins, cinnamon powder, ginger powder and clove powder.
  2. In a medium saucepan, boil together one cup of water and sugar, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Add the apricot mixture and vinegar. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for ten minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool for five minutes. Serve warm.
