During the 18th and 19th centuries, the Americans developed a number of new foods.  What characterised the American cuisine is the adaptation of a fusion of multiple ethnic cooking styles. During this period food production and presentation became more industrialised.

Ingredients for Apple Beignets Recipe

  • Green Apple 1

  • All Purpose Flour to fry

  • Sugar syrup (honey, sugar, saffron)

  • For Batter:

  • All purpose flour and Yeast Mixture 1/2 cup

  • Mint leaves for garnish

Method

Step 1

To make the batter put the all purpose flour and yeast mixture, water, and all purpose flour in a bowl and mix it well.

Step 2

Cut the slices of the green apple and with the help of a ring cutter cut the middle portion of the slice.

Step 3

Heat oil in a pan to fry.

Step 4

Now dip the green apple slices in the batter and fry it in hot oil.

Step 5

Put the fried apple slices in the sugar syrup and take them out on a plate.

Step 6

Keep the apple beignet on a plate and garnish it with mint leaf
