In Malaysian food  traditional Southeast Asian herbs and spices merge with Indian, Middle Eastern and Chinese spices in Malaysian food, leading to aromatic combinations of coriander and cumin seeds with lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, cardamom, star anise and fenugreek.
