By Sanjeev Kapoor 10 Feb 2022 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Noodles, Button mushrooms Cuisine Chinese Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Veg Chowmein 2 cups Noodles , boiled 5-6 Button mushrooms , quartered 3-4 Babycorn , diagonally sliced and blanched 1/4 cup Mixed capsicum (red, green and yellow) diamonds 1 medium Onion , thickly sliced 1 tablespoon Sesame oil (til oil) 4-5 Garlic cloves , sliced 1 inch Ginger , finely chopped 2-3 Spring onion bulbs , sliced to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Soy sauce 1 tablespoon Red chilli sauce 1 teaspoon Vinegar 1 teaspoon to garnish Sesame seeds (til) , toasted for garnish Spring onion greens , diagonally sliced Method Heat sesame oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic, ginger and spring onion bulbs, mix and sauté for 1 minute. Add mushrooms and babycorn, mix and sauté for 1 minute. Add salt and mix. Add mixed capsicums diamonds and onion, mix and sauté for 1 minute. Add noodles, soy sauce, red chilli sauce and salt, mix and cook for 2 minutes. Add vinegar and 1 teaspoon sesame seeds and mix well.
